Latch coil (Set) The coil is energised when the contacts to which

it is connected are closed.

SQ It remains tripped when the contacts re-open.

Unlatch coil (Reset) The coil is de-energised when the contacts to

RQ which it is connected are closed.

It remains inactive when the contacts re-open.
